Description

Traditional used for bronchitis, arthritis  as well as gastrointestinal problems. Also externally as a poultice for wounds and abscesses.
It has been used to increase milk production.It has been shown to reduce blood and urine glucose levels and lipids in dogs. It has anti-inflammatory properties and has been used for coughs and joint inflammation. It has been shown to have some  antacid properties.

Possible Veterinary Indications
To reduce blood glucose, topically on wounds, to promote milk production and reduce inflammation.

Avoid in pregnant animals and not recommended for Hypothyroid animals.

Dosages
Dried and Ground Herb (Such as on the right above from WarriorBullz) 25-200mg/kg tid
Suggested dosage: 1/2 to 1 teaspoon per 10 kg two or three time daily
It can be applied to wounds mixed as a paste – 50gm in 250ml hot water, cooled and then applied externally
